About The Artist...

Siyo-win Peters is a contemporary Native American and Mexican artist whose work is rooted in storytelling, remembrance, and social consciousness. As a painter, stencil artist, printmaker, and street artist, she creates pieces that honor the lives, histories, and resilience of Indigenous communities while inviting viewers into a deeper understanding of their ongoing experiences.

Siyo-win’s art explores the space between memory and the present moment. Her pieces reflect the tension, beauty, and strength found in Native identity and the lived realities of Indigenous people in the modern day world. Every work carries intention, calling attention to issues of safety, visibility, and justice while also celebrating the spirit and endurance of Native women.

Raised in Los Angeles California, Siyo-win proudly embraces her Dakota Sioux and Mexican heritage. Her path has been shaped by dedication across many forms. She earned a scholarship to play college volleyball, completed both her bachelors and masters degrees in social work, and uses that foundation to guide the heart of her creative work. She is also represented by Wilhelmina Models in New York and Los Angeles, where she continues to expand her platform and share her voice.

Through each piece, Siyo-win strives to create connection, spark conversation, and honor the stories that deserve to be seen and remembered. Her work stands as a bridge between past and present, carrying the spirit of her ancestors forward with purpose and care.
